West Of Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
Available for a limited time every year through a series of formulaic releases, we use traditional techniques for our West Of Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey No.1, 2 and 3 recipes to re-imagine what a bourbon can be. This method creates a smooth, flavorful experience that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in your favorite bourbon cocktail.
Our West of Kentucky No.1 Bourbon Whiskey features the aromatic notes of California Cherrywood smoked malted Barley, the West Of Kentucky No.2 Bourbon Whiskey is more of a wheated-style and our West of Kentucky No. 3 is a definite nod to a high-rye bourbon whiskey.
Building on traditions of Kentucky bourbon, we start with American Yellow Corn followed Rye and a dash of California Cherrywood-smoked Barley on top. The hint of smoked grain allows a dark dulcet flavor to emerge without too much smoke or sweetness. Aged in new, charred American oak for no less than one year, and blended with whiskeys up to two years, this is California’s Bourbon Whiskey. Cask Strength available.
Our take on American Whiskey starts with American yellow corn and wheat as the secondary grain. This creates a delicate and refined bourbon with a smooth and mellow flavor. Aged in new, charred American oak no less than one year and blended with whiskeys up to two years, this is California’s Bourbon Whiskey. Drink it neat, or in a classic Whiskey Sour.
This High-Rye style of bourbon showcases unmalted corn from the Midwest, Canadian Rye and malted barley from Wyoming. Aged in new, charred American oak for no less than one year, and blended with whiskeys up to two years. The full-bodied blend offers hints of baking spices, sawdust and vanilla bean gelato for a true rye enthusiast. This is California’s Bourbon Whiskey. Cask Strength available March 2017.
