WEST OF KENTUCKY BOURBON WHISKEY
Available for a limited time every year, through a series of formulaic releases, we use traditional techniques for our West Of Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey No.1, 2 and 3 recipes to re-imagine what a bourbon can be. This method creates a smooth, flavorful experience that can be enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in your favorite bourbon cocktail.
Our West of Kentucky No.1 Bourbon Whiskey (Smoked) features the aromatic notes of California Cherrywood-smoked malted Barley, the West Of Kentucky No.2 Bourbon Whiskey (Wheated) is softer with the addition of wheat to the corn base and our West of Kentucky No. 3 (High-Rye) is a robust bourbon with spicy notes from the addition of rye to the corn.
WEST OF KENTUCKY BOURBON WHISKEY No.1 (Smoked)
Creating our take on classic Kentucky Bourbon, the red bridge is a nod to the dash of locally smoked California Cherrywood-smoked barley added to the American yellow corn and rye. Aged in new, charred American oak for no less than one year, dark dulcet flavors emerge without too much smoke or sweetness. Notes of Marachino Cherry, light smoke, allspice, vanilla and sarsaparilla. This is California’s Bourbon Whiskey.
WEST OF KENTUCKY BOURBON WHISKEY No. 2 (Wheated)
The grey bridge on this bourbon distinguishes this as a refined, wheated bourbon starting with American yellow corn, followed by wheat as the secondary grain. Aged in new, charred American oak for no less than one year, mellow flavors of vanilla, almond, toffee and butterscotch round out the palate. Drink it neat, or in a classic Whiskey Sour. Cask Strength available. This is is California’s Bourbon Whiskey.
WEST OF KENTUCKY BOURBON WHISKEY No. 3 (High-Rye)
Located ‘West of Kentucky’, we craft our High-Rye style of bourbon with unmalted corn from the Midwest, California rye and malted barley from Wyoming. Aged in new, charred American oak for no less than one year, the finished blend offers a robust spiciness and is the ideal choice for a classic Mint Julep. This is California’s Bourbon Whiskey.
