VERY MERRY CRANBERRY WHEAT JULEP
- 1.5 ounces 2nd Chance Wheat Whiskey
- 1 ounce Cranberry Syrup see below
- 8-10 Mint leaves
- 4-9 whole raw cranberries for garnish
In a bucket glass, muddle 3 mint leaves with cranberry syrup. Add whiskey and crushed ice. Garnish with remaining mint leaves and whole cranberries.
Cranberry Syrup: To make Cranberry Syrup: In a saucepan, combine equal parts water, sugar and whole raw cranberries. Simmer over medium heat until consistency thickens (about 10 minutes). Let cool and strain to remove solids. Pour syrup into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
