With cranberries abounding throughout the fall, here’s an easy-to-make cocktail that not only tastes delicious, but also showcases the festive colors of the holidays with its bright from the red cranberry syrup and vibrant green from the mint leaves.

  • 1.5 ounces 2nd Chance Wheat Whiskey
  • 1 ounce Cranberry Syrup see below
  • 8-10 Mint leaves
  • 4-9 whole raw cranberries for garnish


  1. In a bucket glass, muddle 3 mint leaves with cranberry syrup. Add whiskey and crushed ice. Garnish with remaining mint leaves and whole cranberries.

Recipe Notes

Cranberry Syrup: To make Cranberry Syrup: In a saucepan, combine equal parts water, sugar and whole raw cranberries. Simmer over medium heat until consistency thickens (about 10 minutes). Let cool and strain to remove solids. Pour syrup into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator for up to one month.
